AVN 2024 is in Vegas this week from January 24-28. We’ve spent 2 days now on the show floor and here’s a quick overview of the sites and sounds from AVN Las Vegas.

EYE CANDY

First, as you might expect, there was plenty of eye candy. Many popular adult stars like Angela White, Luna Starr, Alexis Fawx, Asa Akira and others were present signing autographs and chatting with fans each day. Of course there were tons of other gorgeous stars greeting fans and signing autographs as well. One of the coolest things about AVN in Las Vegas is that the porn actresses and actors are always so gracious to spend time chatting and taking photos with fans. They are normal people…who like sex…a lot…and on camera. For the adult film stars this is a big event, although exhausting. As the French born and increasingly popular Scarlett Alexis said, “This is the one chance for everyone in the industry to get together and meet the fans, which I enjoy…but by the end I am exhausted.


ADULT NOVELTY EXPO & VENDORS

In addition to appearances by your favorite adult film stars AVN Vegas features a variety of Vendors. There is the annual Adult Novelty Show featuring all types of adult toys. The ANE, Adult Novelty Expo is held at Resorts World along with AVN, but in a different conference area. This years ANE featured very realistic full size dolls…some with life like movements and features. You could even buy strokers (masturbation sleeves) molded from your favorite starlet’s vagina. And of course, Artificial Intelligcence made an appearance at AVN 2024. Some of the dolls had the ability to control their rhythm and more by AI. Another, vendor offers a subscription service for an interactive experience with models using AI. You can actually text/sext with your favorite star model and the system actually will send you videos and voice texts from your dream star that are all personalized and in the star’s voice thanks to AI.
There were also a huge number of Webcam and streaming services in attendance. My Free Cams, www.myfreecams.com and Loyal Fans, www.loyalfans.com are very popular and both had a huge presence at the show. The Loyal Fans booth featured regular appearances by Nyssa Nevers, a Las Vegas local and veteran of the industry and the My Free Cams booth featured a multitude of beautiful ladies many of whom were live streaming to their fans from the show floor. Bot of these booths offer incredible swag ranging from Teddy Bears to personal vibrators.
There is even accounting firm, T-SOA, from Henderson, NV with a booth on the show floor. At first, it seems odd that an accounting firm would display at AVN, but then all the performers and production companies have to deal with the tax man and probably therefore need an accountant.
An intriguing new business on the show floor was Blosm. Blosm is an escrow service contracts between social media stars and vendors. Many individuals and businesses often ask social media influencers to promote their products and services. Sometimes there are disputes or disagreements or the business fails to pay the influencer or the influencer gets paid in advance and then does not deliver the agreed promotions/posts, etc. Blosm serves as an escrow company so that both sides can rest assured that they will both be paid and will get what they paid for. Blosm only retains a small percentage for this service. Brilliant idea. ( I can’t tell you how many times over the years I’ve wished such a service existed inside the strip clubs to fulfill the promises made about the VIP rooms…LOL)
